Casey began his career at Universal Studios, working in the lighting department on TV episodics including “The Rockford Files”, “The Incredible Hulk”, “Battlestar Galactica”, “Quincy” etc. His feature work included "Airport '79", “Best Little Whorehouse in Texas”, and "1941" at Warner Brothers, he worked on “Masada”, “Where The Buffalo Roam”, and as a Lot Rigging Gaffer on “The Blues Brothers”, Cheech and Chong’s "Up In Smoke".

At 20th Century Fox he performed off production rigging in the lighting Department for "Hart to Hart" “Love Boat”, “Mash”, “Charlies Angels”, etc. and worked as a lighting technician on "The Color Purple" with Steven Spielberg. He has shot on locations around the world and worked for directors including Peter Smillie, Joe Pytka, The young Dektors, and Simon Dick. As a Director of Photography, he has shot music videos for Tyler Collins in Hawaii, Kool and the Gang, and has concentrated on TV commercial production for the last 15 years.
