Dead West (AKA Cowboys and Vampires) launched in the UK today. Over 1,000 DVDs were sold in just one store! It's a hit! We love the Brits!

They're changing our name! Dead West has signed with Redemption Media for a September DVD and VOD launch in the UK. They are thinking of changing the name to "Cowboys and Vampires"! Oh well. Germany is next! What will it be called there?

Dead West has been selected by the Almeria Western Film Festival, 2011 in Almeria, Spain. Almeria is the site of the famous "Spaghetti Westerns" created by Sergio Leone and starring Clint Eastwood. This is a perfect venue for a film that deals with the death of the western - and the rise of the horror genre! Congrats to all who participated in the filming!

“Dead West” was selected “Best Feature Film” at Indie Fest, USA in Garden Grove, CA. Dead West, the story of how the western was killed by the Horror genre, was named “Best Feature Film at this year’s IndieFest, USA. “Dead West”, a feature-length motion picture (94 minutes), was produced and shot on location in Tucson, Arizona.

Dead West has just been named an Official Selection of Indie Fest USA and will screen at the Film Festival on opening night, Wednesday, April 27th in the 500-seat Festival Amphitheater on Historic Main Street in Garden Grove, California.

“Dead West” is currently being screened for submission in several film festivals nationally and internationally.
